About Mairead

Mairead Carney is an experienced independent Human Resource consultant.

Mairead established Adermia HR in 2013, following many successful years of working in HR and Management, in a range of employments from multinational companies to semi state organisation in Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Mairead is a full believer in the power of people as humans to do the right thing and agrees with Richard Branson’s HR philosophy - Train people well enough so they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don’t want to. Mairead has a passionate belief that if you hire the person for their attitude, give them the training and development, treat them well as people, you will get long term commitment and success in your business.

Mairead applies the complete umbrella of employment law, to all solutions provided by Adermia HR, with a practical and professional mentality to problems encountered. Adapting a real common sense approach, Mairead is driven to get a win win for all issues.

Mairead has over 25 years’ experience in HR and management, having worked previously in Ireland, the UK and Europe in senior management positions across various sectors including hospitality and services, private sector SME’s, Public Sector and various semi state organisations.
